Hello Mistura Beauties,
I just discovered the most FANTASTIC beauty blog-website and you all NEED to check it out asap! A dear, old friend of mine named Jessica has started a website called Beautezine and it is like nothing you've ever seen before. Another Canadian woman slowly conquering the world...
I asked her to give me some more details on the site and here's what she had to say:
"My name is Jessica, I am 23 years old and I'm the founder and editor of BEAUTEZINE.COM. I really wanted to do something different in the beauty blogging world… I didn't want to just be another blogger, but I wanted to create something different, unique and exciting. I absolutely love magazines, so I thought it would be neat to combine the concepts of daily beauty blogging along with a monthly online magazine- and that's how BEAUTEZINE was formed… and really, what girl wouldn't want to have her own magazine?! The name means just that, a beauty-e-zine, where the blogposts are magazine-style articles, and at the end of the month I use the hottest posts from that month, along with some neat exclusive content, to form the BEAUTEZINE MONTHLY. It's been a lot of work, but I'm so passionate about it and I love watching it grow. BEAUTEZINE features a whole variety of different content, like product reviews, video demos, news, how-to's, must-have product guides, tips, interviews and so much more. It's a great place for any makeup & beauty lover!"
Jessica, being a die-hard Mistura fan, will soon be doing a feature on Mistura Beauty and will be offering lots of prizes!! Be sure to stay tuned to both websites for info.

Attention Mistura Beauties in Maritime Canada!!
In April 2011, Mistura Beauty Solutions launched into 40 Lawton’s Drug stores across Eastern Canada. Until recently we’ve had minimal presence in the amazing East Coast but never fear, Lawton’s is here! We are so excited to be working with the awesome crew at Lawton’s Drugs and to create more Mistura fans across Canada.

In mid April, Mistura Beauty Solutions had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Drug Trading Showcase 2011. It opened many doors for Mistura and it also allowed us to create some more die-hard fans!! We met some fantastic store owners from across Canada and cannot wait to work directly with our customers.

With spring finally arriving, many of you will be out there tending to your gardens, landscaping your backyard or getting the pool ready for the season. Oh the joys of spring. Unfortunately, I am not doing any of these things as I am stuck in mid renovation on our house and may not be enjoying my backyard this year as I had hoped to do.

After a break in between spaces, we have settled into a lovely 1500 square foot office space in Ottawa which Christine is happily interior decorating. Although it’s not the biggest space, it’s great for us all to be together. Even our two Mistura pooches, Jenny and Sarah are in heaven. Part of having a new office means that I get to be around my amazing team every day. It’s such a joy to listen to all the chatter and keyboard taps as we all work so hard to keep up with business and support our sales. Now that we are all under the same roof, it will be much faster to achieve world domination! ☺ You can drop us a line or pop in anytime to our new office at 1010 Polytek suite 20 in Ottawa.
